MENDHAR MARCH 08:-In a remarkable humanitarian initiative, the Indian Army organized a Blood Donation Camp at Mendhar on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The camp was conducted by the Ramkund Gunners unit, reflecting the Army’s strong commitment towards social responsibility and public welfare.
A professional medical team from Government Medical College Rajouri reached Mendhar to facilitate the blood donation drive and ensure that all medical procedures were carried out according to proper health and safety standards. The team collected blood from enthusiastic soldiers of the Indian Army who voluntarily stepped forward to donate.
During the camp, a large number of jawans from the Ramkund Gunners unit participated with great dedication and a spirit of service. The collected blood will be stored in the blood bank and will be used for patients who require blood in emergency and critical medical situations.
Army officials stated that the objective of the blood donation camp was to help save precious lives by ensuring the availability of blood for those patients who need it urgently, especially during medical emergencies. They emphasized that the Indian Army has always remained committed not only to protecting the borders of the nation but also to serving humanity whenever needed.
The medical team from Government Medical College Rajouri appreciated the noble gesture of the soldiers and highlighted that voluntary blood donation is one of the most important contributions a person can make to society, as a single unit of blood can help save multiple lives.

The camp concluded successfully with many soldiers donating blood with pride and enthusiasm.
