Zaffer Ahmed Banday KAS Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch Retired After The Complete 36 Years Of Successful of Service

Zaffar Ahmed Bandey KAS Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch attained superannuation from govt service after rendering more than 36 years of unblemished service in different departments in different capacities.
He joined the service in agriculture department as JAA after completing his BSc Agriculture from Sopore Srinagar. He got promoted there within very less spell of time as Agriculture Extension Officer.After serving in agriculture department he was deputed in District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) as Assistant Project Officer for many years. Then he was transferred in Rural Development Department and served as BDO in different blocks as Bufliaz, Kaltsi (Leh), Kot Balwal SundarBani and Bishnah. Then he got promoted and posted as District Panchayat Officer Poonch. After serving as DPO he got induction in KAS and posted as Deputy District Election Officer Jammu and served there for more than 3 years where he was instrumental in conducting of smooth and successful Panchayat Elections in district Jammu and facilitated by the higher authoritues for the same. Then he got transferred in Ramban district and posted as Assistant Commissioner Development. At the verge of his retirement he was transferred to Poonch as Assistant Commissioner Revenue where he has done commendable service due to his hard work.
Beside ACR he also worked as District Nodal Officer Covid-19 where he worked tirelessly and co-ordinated effectively with different agencies to contain the spread of pandemic in district Poonch till his last day of service.
During his career of service in various departments he worked with zeal and dedication and remained an upright and honest officer with commitment to his job.
On his superannuation the district administration and civil society given a warm send off to him and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
He will always be remained in hearts of the general public for his positive approach, smiling nature and effectively discharging of official duties.
