Jammu, :– “Hike in Petrol-Diesel price should be directly proportional to the international market price of crude oil viza-viz the daily needs of common people” said Mr. Sahil Jamwal, Incharge District Jammu Rural, All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) while demanding the roll back of the Petrol-Diesel price in a press statement issued here today showing concern over the prevailing unrest among the common masses of UT.
Mr. Jamwal further expressed his concern about the crises of electricity and drinking water supply shortage and urged upon the UT as well as Union Governments to ensure adequate supply of the essential services.
Mr. Jamwal further said that the government is totally dependent on the private agencies and is giving unnecessarily benefits to them by eliminating tendering for repairing and supply of transformers and electric wires which is causing delay in complication of work within time frame and putting burden over the comman masses.
Mr. Jamwal further said that the status of international price of crude oil is very much low and the current price of Petrol-Diesel in UT as well as in the entire Country is much higher than expectations which is inexcusable and further criticize both the UT and Central governments for increasing fuel price even after the low price of crude oil in the international market.
