Negligence death at GMC Rajouri, family protested. Inquiry initiated.

Rajouri July 16:-Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohd Nazir Sheikh has initiated an inquiry in the alleged negligence death of a man in the hospital after the family members and villagers held a protest against the hospital administration today.
It is Pertinent to mention here that on Tuesday a doctor had slapped a man and police threatens him for action on objecting that a policeman had broken the line for Covid sampling to get his blue eyed tested on priority. An inquiry by Additional DC Sher Singh has already been initiated in this matter.
Karan Sryal, sarpanch alleged that a man from Mubarakpura Panchayat, who had attended his duty on Wednesday, brought to GMC&AH at 5 am today reportedly with complaint of high blood pressure.”Till 10 am no doctor attended the patient despite repeated requests by family members nd the man died at 11am” said Saryal.
People alleged since the district hospital upgrade and associated with GMC the doctors, due to week administration of the Principal, don’t care about the patients under the grab of Covid pandemic.
People have appealed to Lieutenan Governor Administration to interfere in the working of GMC&AH & take necessary measures to provide better health care to poor people.
“An inquiry has been initiated in the alleged negligence death of a man which will be conducted by ACR” said Thakur Sher Singh Additional DC Rajouri.
