Rajesh Shavan, Deputy Commissioner today visited the GMC&AH to see the progress. Dr. Mehmood Bazar, Medical Superintendent apprised the DC that the plant would be made operational within the next two days.
“The plant will produce 1000 litre oxygen per minute (LPM) and would help in augmenting bed capacity in the district for better treatment of Covid-19 patients” said Dr. Mehmood.
According to official reports 109 new positive cases have been reported from across the district after aggressive RAT & RT-PCR testing while 5 persons died in the district due to Covid-19 today.
