Mendhar: September 05:–President Mendhar Development Forum and Social Activist Tanveer Iqbal Qureshi urged the Union Government to include Gojri and Pahari languages in the proposed legislation of official languages in the UT of J&K as these languages are spoken across the UT of J&K.
Tanveer Qureshi stated that on thrusday sep. 2 Union Government approve J&K’s 5 official language’s in which Gojri and Pahari languages are ignored by Union Government.
Tanveer Qureshi stated that the Pahari language has a rich treasure of folk & written literature. Pahari is spoken by near about 3 million people’s in J&K as their first and second language and is also different from Kashmiri and Dogri.
In his statement he also stated that it is the aspiration of million of people’s that due credit should be given to the ancient languages that is serving their mother land for centuries.
Tanveer Qureshi appeals the Union Government include the said languages in the proposed Bill before introducing the Bill in the upcoming session of Parliament scheduled to be held from September 14 to October 1 2020.
It will give immense of pleasure to the millions of people’s and a sense security will be inculcated in the people’s towards the union government is pertinent to mention here that Pahari peoples are act as safe guard of the boarder belt.
