Two drug peddlers held in Manjakote, consignment of Charas seized

Rajouri,Aug 13:- Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri’s Manjakote on Thursday foiled a drugs smuggling bid arresting two peddlers.

Police said that a team of Manjakote police station headed by Station House Officer Manjakote Pankaj Sharma under supervision of SDPO Manjakote Nissar Khoja was on patrolling duty at Katarmal Morh of Manjakote when two person were found in suspicious condition who tried to fled away after seeing cops.

He said that the police party intercepted and apprehended both persons and on their search, 80 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from them.

A case in FIR No 125/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Manjakote police station and investigation into the matter is going on.
