Mandi, July 17:– Awareness programme about Covid-19 organised by super 30 College of Competitions at village Arai of Tehsil Mandi,in which number of people participated from different areas of Block Mandi.chairman of super30 college of competitions Dr. Shamim Ahmed Banday in his speech appealed to Public that wash your hands with soap or use hand sanitizer and avoid close contact with the people who are sick, especially people exhibiting respiratory symptoms and fever. Dr.shamim Ahmed Banday said maintaining social distancing is need of the hour.In the programme, Dr Tanveer Khan CEO Tourism,Sh.shakeel Ahmed District Social welfare officer poonch, Sh.Jahangir Khan CDPO, Mohd Azam Tehsil social welfare officer Mandi,Sh Tilak Raj SHO Mandi,sh. Maqsood, Sarpanch Mohd Aslam Malik,Sarpanch Shakil Parray,Master Khurshid Ahmed,Master Ghulam Hussain and many other prominent citizens were also present and briefed about the novel coronavirus pandemic.Dr.shamim Ahmed Banday said that in view of the recent spike in number of Covid-19 cases across J&K it is obligatory for all irrespective of age, gender and profession to wear masks and religiously follow medical advisories regarding social distancing and sanitization measures that are being issued by the administration from time to time.
