Rajouri,June 23:–Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district arrested an absconder who was wanted in a case of rape, abduction and The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences ( POCSO) Act of Rajouri police station.
Absconder have been identified as Mohammad Zaffer son of Mohammad Rafiq resident of Palullian village of Rajouri.
Police said that accused was wanted in a case bearing
FIR no 435/2019 U/S 363,376 and 3/4 POCSO Act but was evading his arrest from last an year.
” On Tuesday, a team of police headed by Police Post Incharge Rajouri city SI Danish Maqbool raided a location in Palullian village and arrested the absconder who shall be produced in the court of law.” police said.
The arrest was made by police team under the supervision of SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani and Deputy SP Headquarter Surinder Khadyal.
