NEW DELHI MARCH 09:-Social and political activist Mohammad Faheem Reshi, who previously contested from the 25 Eidgah Constituency, has called for greater youth participation in politics across Jammu and Kashmir and an end to dynastic politics in the region.

Reshi, who is also the Chairman of Greater Shah-re-Khaas, said that efforts will be made to work “from ground zero” to ensure strong representation of youth in political and social leadership. He emphasized that the mission of his initiative is to serve the poor, underprivileged, and all sections of society while working for the overall development of the region.

Highlighting the need for political reforms, Reshi said the focus will be on promoting young political leaders from local communities so that they can represent their own constituencies and wards. He also opposed the practice of imposing “outsiders” as MLAs or councillors in local constituencies, stressing that local youth should be given the opportunity to represent their own people.

He further stated that the movement aims to empower young leaders who can bring real change and work for the betterment of society, particularly focusing on youth development and community welfare.
“Our motto is Youth Empowerment. We want young, dynamic, and local leaders who truly represent their communities,” Reshi said, adding that the initiative stands firmly against dynastic or “Khandani Raaj” politics in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reaffirming his commitment to democratic values, Reshi said the movement will work under the Constitution of India to serve the nation and contribute to the progress and development of the country.

Calling for political change, he raised slogans such as “End Dynastic Politics,” “Stop Imposing Outsiders,” and “Youth Leadership Zindabad,” urging young people to actively participate in shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir.
