Yar Ali Khan isn’t only a bureaucratic name but an epitome of honesty, sincerity and dedication. Born in Mandi Poonch, completed his basic education from there being from a middle-class family. He is said to be honest even throughout his student life, especially from college life to University life. He struggled hard to fulfil his ambition of becoming an IAS officer. Yar Ali Khan being quite an intelligent and sensitive mind person worked quite hard to reach his destination, fortunately, he attained his destination by becoming a KAS officer.

From day one he joined the service as a (KAS) officer he chanced to work in almost all the remote areas of the remotest districts of the Jammu and Kashmir state and left a grave impression of honesty in almost all the posts against which he worked. Every person accepted him as an honest person. He came to the limelight right from the day when he started delivering his duties with utmost dedication, honesty and sincerity. Whosoever worked with him or under his subordination accepted him as an epitome of honesty. He is the person who can’t be blamed for a penny that he has earned dishonestly throughout his service career. He worked as a Block Development officer somewhere in Poonch and proved his career as an honest officer. People of the very block can be accessed to know who Yar Ali Khan is? Later he was promoted based on his honesty and dedication to the post of District Planning officer Poonch and then posted in Kupwara.
When he was the DPO Kupwara a post known for some bad names but when Yar Ali Khan reached there everything changed, every subordinate from top clerical staff to Peon accepted an honest officer is heading the section. Hence doing injustice by any means may land an official into the custody of the court. He is so dedicated that he used to move from one desk to another desk to get the work of others done.
He never has asked anybody to come to tomorrow or the day after tomorrow for his work. When he used to be heading the department public used to visit easily with the hope that their work will get done definitely.

Yar Ali Khan is the only officer who never compromised or has ever compromised in the deliverance of his duties. He can never be even thought of being dishonest or insincere. From the whole district of Kupwara, every person can be called to ask who Yar Ali Khan is? I hope that every person from the Kupwara district to the whole of the Baramullah district can tell who Yar Ali Khan is?

Any departmental action or proceedings against him will be a slap on the authorities. If he will be punished means nobody wants honest officers to head the crucial departments. Any action against him is an action against honesty, dedication and sincerity. Anything is done in his absence by his junior can’t be considered his fault.
