SRINAGAR, JUNE 17:– In a significant political development, two retired Revenue Department officers  joined the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of party president Mehbooba Mufti.

The new entrants include Bashir Ahmad Khan from Srinagar who served as Tehsildar Rajouri during the late 1990s, and Khurshid Tantray from Rajouri who recently retired from government service as a Tehsildar.

Welcoming the duo into the party, PDP leaders expressed confidence that their extensive administrative experience, commitment to public service, and deep understanding of grassroots issues would strengthen the party and contribute meaningfully to addressing public concerns.

The party extended a warm welcome to both leaders and wished them success in their political journey, expressing hope that their experience would help further the PDP’s vision of public welfare and inclusive governance.
