Two Minor Sisters Die After Snakebite in Kalakote Village of Rajouri

RAJOURI, SEPT 13:-Two minor sisters died after allegedly being bitten by a snake at Manma Barmari village in the Kalakote subdivision of Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said.

According to officials, the sisters were sleeping in a room along with other family members when a snake reportedly appeared on the bed and bit both children.

The family members immediately rushed the girls to a hospital for medical treatment. However, despite efforts by the medical team, both sisters succumbed to their injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Amiba, aged 5, and Amiza, aged 3, residents of Rajouri district.

Meanwhile, authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
