TJA Committee Elevates Ch. Mohd Rafiq as Sub-Divisional President for Mendhar Sub-Division

MENDHAR, APRIL 28:- In a major organizational development aimed at strengthening coordination and leadership within the teaching fraternity, the Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has elevated Ch. Mohd Rafiq to the post of Sub-Divisional President for Mendhar Sub-Division.

Ch. Mohd Rafiq, who previously served as Tehsil President, was promoted in recognition of his dedicated service, dynamic leadership, and consistent efforts towards the welfare of teachers.

The decision was taken during a well-attended meeting held under the chairmanship of UT Spokesperson Syed Shanawaz Kazmi. Senior members and representatives from different areas participated in the meeting and unanimously endorsed the elevation.

With his new responsibility, Ch. Mohd Rafiq will now oversee the organizational affairs of three tehsils — Balakot, Mendhar, and Mankote. His appointment is expected to strengthen coordination among various units and ensure a more united and effective approach in addressing the issues faced by teachers across the sub-division.

Hundreds of teachers from different parts of the region attended the gathering, reflecting strong unity and support within the teaching community. The participants felicitated Ch. Mohd Rafiq for his remarkable contributions and proactive role in highlighting and resolving issues concerning educators.

Addressing the gathering, senior leaders of the committee expressed confidence in his leadership abilities and said that the elevation was not only recognition of his past contributions but also a responsibility to lead with vision, integrity, and inclusiveness. They also stressed the need for collective efforts to strengthen the education system and safeguard the rights and interests of teachers.

Speaking on the occasion, Ch. Mohd Rafiq expressed gratitude to the Teachers Joint Action Committee for reposing faith in him. He thanked his colleagues for their continued support and assured them that he would continue to work with sincerity, dedication, and commitment for the welfare of the teaching fraternity.

He reiterated his resolve to promote unity among teachers and emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue and proactive engagement in addressing challenges faced by the education sector.

The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, reaffirming the committee’s commitment to collective efforts for the betterment of teachers and the overall development of education in the region.
