“Superhit show under SBSI concluded by NSS Unit of GDC Kishtwar”

Kishtwar July 31:-The NSS Unit of GDC Kishtwar today concludes Swach Bharat Summer Internship programme with SWACHTA MELA function under supervision of Prof. Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo in the conference hall of GDC Kishtwar where more than fifty volunteers participated .
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Principal Prof. P. K Sharma and Nodal Officer GDC Chatroo Dr. Ashiq Hussain was invited as a special guest. Different activities regarding Swachta were undertaken during the programme.
This year , SBSI has been the most successful event in Kishtwar as all the aspects were covered with huge positive impact on society. Artifacts made from polythene and plastic bottles by NSS volunteers were also displayed on this occasion . On the occasion scores of speakers highlighted the importance of cleanliness and its impact on the present and future generations.
While talking to media Programme Officer NSS Unit GDC Kishtwar Prof. Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo said that NSS Unit of college have taken an initiative of Clean Kishtwar Green Kishtwar and whole team is had performed tremendous job toward betterment of society. Adding that , Our aim is to create awareness among masses across Kishtwar and to hold awareness campaign .
It is pertinent to mention here that NSS Unit GDC Kishtwar has proved itself the most consistent and dedicated organisation working on this noble cause. This year both state and national awards can be expected for this prestigious organisation of district Kishtwar which has left no stone unturned in convincing the general public about issues of cleanliness , segregation of biodegradable and non biodegradable wastes, community participation for compost pits construction, solid waste management, biogas plants and general awareness campaigns to the public.
