SURANKOTE,30 SEPTEMBER:–Indian Army under Op Sadbhavana project of 2019 had got trained 86 women of village Faislabad in Stitching and Tailoring. To further it’s initiative towards self-employment, 15 women were selected and given project of stitching face masks to utilised their skills against the pandemic Corona Virus and give them a livelihood in times when there is very less employment opportunities. This initiative not only generated employment for these women staying in a backward area but also gave an opportunity to these women to display their skill and earn a livelihood for themselves and support to their families. This event was also followed by distribution of these masks amongst the locals. This initiative of Indian Army was highly appreciated by the locals, the beneficiary women and their families
