SRINAGAR, JULY 22:– The Shah Re Khass Traders and Chambers (SKTC) has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Station House Officer (SHO) Mudasir and his team of police personnel for their exceptional courage, dedication, and swift response in saving numerous lives during the recent incident.
In a statement issued by Chief Spokesperson Raqib Altaf Shah, the organization commended the professionalism, teamwork, and unwavering commitment displayed by the SHO and his team, stating that their timely intervention played a crucial role in preventing further loss of life and ensuring public safety under challenging circumstances.
The Traders and Chambers also urged the concerned administrative authorities to expedite the process of providing fair and adequate compensation to the affected families and traders who suffered losses in the incident. The organization emphasized that timely financial assistance would help the victims recover from their hardships and rebuild their lives.
Highlighting another pressing civic concern, the organization reiterated its demand for the immediate completion of the pending Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project. It stated that the prolonged delay in completing the project has adversely affected sanitation, drainage, and environmental health in the locality.
The issue, the statement noted, has already been taken up with the concerned departments on several occasions.
Reaffirming its commitment to public welfare, the Shah Re Khass Traders and Chambers expressed hope that the administration would take prompt action on both the compensation issue and the completion of the STP project. The organization stressed that coordinated efforts between the administration and the community are essential to ensuring a safer, cleaner, and more prosperous future for the people of Kashmir.
