Road Marking Work Resumes on Jammu Ring Road Ahead of Foggy Season

JAMMU DECM, 19:-In a proactive move to enhance road safety ahead of the foggy winter season, road marking work has been resumed on the Jammu Ring Road under the supervision of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Rajiv Kumar, Project Director, PIU Jammu, said the work has been taken up well in advance keeping in view the reduced visibility conditions experienced during winter. He informed that proper lane markings, black-and-white curb painting, and other essential safety measures are being carried out to ensure better visibility for commuters.

“These measures are aimed at guiding motorists effectively during low-visibility conditions and minimizing the risk of accidents on the Jammu Ring Road,” he said.

The initiative is expected to significantly improve commuter safety and ensure smoother traffic movement during the upcoming fog season.
