Rana conducts mega public outreach at Batote, assures priority redressal of public issues

BATOTE, APRIL 23:-Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmed Rana today conducted a mega public outreach programme with workers of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference at
Batote, which witnessed an enthusiastic participation of party leaders and workers from across Ramban district and adjoining areas.

The programme was attended by Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta, legislators Arjun Raju and Sajad Shaheen, former DDC Chairperson Shamshad Shan, Chairman OBC Cell Abdul Ghani Teli, District President JKNC Abid Magray, Tariq Mir, former DDC Mohd Shafi , Harshvardan, Arunpal and several other party functionaries.

A large gathering of workers accorded a warm welcome to the Minister and actively participated in the interaction. Party leaders and workers highlighted a range of issues concerning Ramban, Batote and other areas of the district.

The key issues raised included augmentation of drinking water supply under the Jal Jeevan Mission, improvement of road connectivity and infrastructure, strengthening of education and healthcare facilities, and matters related to Forest and Tribal Affairs.

Among other issues discussed were implementation of the Forest Rights Act, employment opportunities for locals, timber provisioning, forest clearances for road projects, completion of Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel at Ramban and promotion of eco-tourism avenues in the region.

Responding to the concerns, the Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment towards balanced and inclusive development of all regions. He issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned authorities to address the highlighted issues on priority and ensure their time-bound resolution.

The Minister emphasized that such outreach programmes play a crucial role in strengthening public connect and ensuring effective redressal of grassroots concerns.
