RAJOURI SEPT, 29:-Police Party of Police Post City Rajouri intercepted Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration No. JK11E-6235 during checking.
During questioning the rider was identified as *Mohd Imran S/o Mohd Ashraf R/o near PG College Kheora* while the pillion rider was identified as *Mohd Zaheer S/o Abdul Mehmood R/o Saimsmith Rajouri.* During the search police recovered 1,300 tablets from their possession comprising:
1. 105 strips containing 1,050 tablets of Tapentadol
2. 25 strips containing 250 tablets of Pregabalin
The recovered tablets were seized as per procedure and both accused were taken into custody.
In this connection a Case FIR No. 511/2026 has been registered at Police Station Rajouri and investigation has been taken up to ascertain the source and intended destination of the recovered tablets and identify any further links in the supply chain.
