Rajouri Police Intensifies Anti-Drug Awareness Drive Across District under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan

RAJOURI APRIL 22:-Rajouri Police in its sustained efforts against drug abuse organized a series of awareness programmes under the *Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan* at different educational institutions across the district including Higher Secondary School Kalakote, Government Higher Secondary School Solki and Government Higher Secondary School Panjgrian (Tehsil Manjakote).The programmes were *conducted by Police Stations Kalakote, Dharamsal and Manjakote* witnessing active participation from students and staff membersof the respective institutions. The initiative aimed at educating the youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy drug free lifestyle.

During the sessions police personnel highlighted the serious physical, mental and social consequences of substance abuse emphasizing that drug addiction not only destroys individuals but also adversely impacts families and society at large. Participants were encouraged to stay away from drugs, adopt positive life choices, and contribute actively towards building a drug free society.

Police officials also urged the participants to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to drug trafficking. Interactive sessions were held where students shared their views and actively engaged with the officers on ways to tackle the menace of drugs.The programmes concluded with a collective pledge by all attendees to support and strengthen the mission of eradicating drug abuse and fostering a safer healthier society.
