Rajouri ,June 25:-Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district held interactive sessions with the girl students enrolled in government high school Budhal and Nowshera boys and girls higher secondary school.
In Budhal, session was chaired by station house officer Budhal Sanjay Raina in presence of school staff.
Threadbare discussion was held between police officers and students on a number of issues during this session.
Girl students were made aware about their important role in eradication of social evils and were also motivated to raise voice against eve teasing, if any, and also become an active part of war against drugs addiction.
Similarly, an interactive session and awareness rally was organised by police with the students of boys higher secondary school and girls higher secondary school Nowshera.
Students were briefed about various social evils including drugs abuse and sexual abuse.
Moreover, they were also sensitized about road safety measures and need to follow traffic norms in letter and spirit to minimise blood shed on roads.
The rally with slogans ” Say No to Drugs ” and ” Avoid Drugs ” passed through main market and was headed by Additional SP Nowshera, GL Sharma along with SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma, SHO Nowshera Mohammad Amin Malik and principals of institutions.
