RAJOURI JUNE 30:-The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rajouri Unit staged a protest in Rajouri against the National Conference (NC)-led government, alleging large-scale job outsourcing and backdoor appointments in Jammu and Kashmir.

Carrying placards reading “Jobs Are Not For Sale,” “No to Selling Jobs,” “25,000 Jobs Sold,” and “Don’t Steal Our Future,” PDP leaders and workers marched through the town, raising slogans against the government and demanding transparency in recruitment.

Addressing the gathering, PDP leaders alleged that both the National Conference and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had been partners in promoting outsourced and backdoor appointments for political convenience. They claimed that such practices undermine merit-based recruitment and deprive deserving unemployed youth of equal opportunities.

“The youth of Jammu and Kashmir deserve a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process. Government jobs should be filled only through constitutional recruitment agencies, not through outsourcing or political patronage,” the protesting leaders said.

The party demanded that the government immediately halt the outsourcing of government jobs, disclose details of all outsourced appointments, and ensure that vacancies are filled through open and competitive recruitment.

The protest comes amid an ongoing political controversy over outsourcing and recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir. While the PDP has accused the NC-led government of facilitating backdoor appointments through outsourcing, the government has rejected the allegations, asserting that all regular recruitment is being carried out through merit-based constitutional agencies and that outsourcing is being used only to meet temporary staffing requirements.
