One-Week MSME Sponsored Training Programme on Biofertilizer Technology Inaugurated at SKUAST-K Wadura.

SRINAGAR FEBRUARY 05:-A one-week MSME sponsored training programme titled “Business and Production Management of Biofertilizer Technology for Entrepreneurship” was inaugurated today at the Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K).
The inaugural function was graced by the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. In his address, the Dean emphasized the importance of biofertilizer technology in promoting sustainable agriculture and creating entrepreneurial opportunities for young graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The programme formally commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Rehana Rasool, Professor, who highlighted the objectives of the training programme. She underlined that the initiative aims to equip participants with practical knowledge on production techniques, quality control, marketing strategies, and business management of biofertilizers, thereby fostering self-employment and agripreneurship.
The training programme is being organized to strengthen skill development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector through scientific and industry-oriented approaches. Experts from different disciplines will deliver lectures and hands-on sessions during the week-long programme.
