Srinagar August 02:–None of the Shia leaders gave any adverse statement for leading procession from Abi Guzar that what media said of Shia split , They asked for freedom of religion for all: Hakim Suhail Abbas Kashmiri

In a statement to different media groups Hakim Suhail Abbas Kashmiri has said every Shia leader and organisation has welcomed the decision of administration but what they have asked for is freedom of religion for Sikhs ,Hindus ,Muslims etc .

Muharram ul Haraam Processions, Programs are open for all which can be seen in other parts of world.In Punjab Sikh community eracts tents to quench thirst of Azadaars , In Jammu, Delhi ,Rajasthan,Mumbai Hindus organise langers to feed Azadaars.

He added In Iraq the Shrine of Leader of Martyrs, Moula Hussain (PBUH) remains crowded with religious personalities of different religions who pay tributes to Sayyed e Shohada (as).

The month of Muharram teaches peace , unification, liberty with people of all walks of life.

He further requested Muslim and non Muslim organizations in J&K to come together and finalise the programs with coordination as per the past practices.
