JAMMU MARCH 06:-Newly joined Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers called on the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu today.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister warmly welcomed the officers and extended his best wishes for their tenure in the Union Territory. He encouraged them to work with dedication and commitment for the conservation and sustainable management of forest resources in Jammu & Kashmir.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of protecting biodiversity, promoting afforestation, and ensuring ecological balance while carrying out developmental activities.
The officers were accompanied by senior officials of the Forest Department during the meeting. The interaction provided an opportunity for the young officers to familiarize themselves with the administrative priorities and environmental challenges of the region.
