JAMMU, APRIL 07:-Mohammad Aslam assumed charge as the Commandant of SDRF 2nd Battalion Jammu, succeeding Zahid Naseem Manhas, who has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Railways, J&K.
Upon taking over, Mohammad Aslam underscored the importance of strengthening the State Disaster Response Force’s operational efficiency, particularly in disaster management and emergency response. He emphasized enhanced preparedness, better coordination, and capacity building as key priorities to further improve the force’s effectiveness.
Expressing confidence in the capabilities of SDRF personnel, he reiterated his commitment to reinforcing the organization’s role in safeguarding lives and property across the region.
Mohammad Aslam also extended his best wishes to the outgoing Commandant for his future assignments and acknowledged his valuable contributions to the force.
On the occasion, Zahid Naseem Manhas appreciated the efforts and dedication of SDRF personnel during his tenure and extended a warm welcome to his successor.
