RAJOURI, APRIL 22: Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi on Tuesday visited Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, where he assessed the institution’s academic performance and ongoing development works during a meeting with Vice Chancellor Professor Jawaid Iqbal.
During the interaction, the Vice Chancellor presented an overview of the university’s recent progress, noting a significant rise in student enrolment across various disciplines. He also outlined ongoing infrastructure expansion and key projects aimed at enhancing both academic facilities and research capabilities on campus.
The MP expressed appreciation for the university’s steady growth and praised the administration for its dedication to improving higher education standards in the region. He acknowledged the efforts being made to strengthen academic quality and expand institutional capacity.
Highlighting the importance of modern education, Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi commended the university’s focus on emerging disciplines, particularly Artificial Intelligence, describing it as essential for preparing students with skills aligned to future industry demands.
