Mehraj Malik Demands Immediate Release of Youth PDP Leader Talib Hussain

JAMMU, JUNE 02:- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir President and MLA Doda, Mehraj Malik, has strongly demanded the immediate release of Youth PDP leader Talib Hussain, expressing concern over his detention and calling for justice and democratic rights.

In a statement issued today Mehraj Malik said that suppressing the voices of young political activists weakens democratic institutions and creates a sense of alienation among the youth. He urged the authorities to ensure that due legal process is followed and that Talib Hussain is released without delay.

Malik emphasized that political differences should not become grounds for curbing freedom of expression and democratic participation. He maintained that every citizen has the constitutional right to raise issues affecting the public and participate in peaceful political activities.

The AAP leader also appealed to the administration to uphold democratic values and protect the rights of political workers across party lines. He reiterated that justice and fairness must prevail, adding that the voice of the youth cannot be silenced through pressure or intimidation.

The demand comes amid growing support on social media and among political activists seeking the release of Talib Hussain.
