RAJOURI, APRIL 28: A Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) along with a “Nasha Mukt Rally” was successfully organized at PM SHRI Higher Secondary School Peeri on monday, aimed at strengthening school-community bonds and promoting a drug-free society.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of the In-charge Principal, Dr. Zaheer Ahmed Mir, in collaboration with the Chowki Officer Peeri, Lalit Khajuria. The event witnessed active participation from students, parents, school staff, and officials from Jammu & Kashmir Police.
During the PTM, a comprehensive discussion was held on students’ academic progress and the challenges they face both inside and outside the school environment. Parents were encouraged to actively engage in their children’s development and maintain regular communication with teachers.
A major highlight of the programme was the awareness campaign against drug abuse. Addressing the gathering, SI Lalit Khajuria emphasized the harmful effects of substance abuse and urged students to stay away from drugs. Parents were sensitized about identifying early warning signs and guiding their children towards healthy lifestyles.
Students also participated in a rally carrying anti-drug messages, spreading awareness in the surrounding areas. They collectively pledged to remain drug-free and contribute to building a safe and healthy society.
The programme concluded with a strong message: “Drugs destroy dreams, education builds futures,” reinforcing the commitment of the school and community towards a Nasha Mukt Bharat, Sashakt Bharat.
