Mass public grievances redressal camp organised at Budhal

BUDHAL/RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 16:– A mass public grievance redressal- camp was organised in Budhal Block of Rajouri district on Thursday. The problems of residents of 11 Gram Panchayats in Budhal Block were discussed and some of them resolved at the camp. Chairperson Block Development Council Budhal Mrs Shameem Akhter, Sarpanch Budhal Shabir Kamlak, Sarpanch Kewal Farooq Inqlabi, Sarpanch Samote Gafoor Bhat, Executive Engeenier PDD Gulshan Kumar, and different officials from PHE, informed the villagers about various schemes operated under their respective departments.
Shameem Akhter Chairperson BDC Budhal said that all eligible people will be benefited through different schemes launched by the government. Shameem appealed to the villagers to come forward and take advantage of the schemes and also assured that the applications taken in the camp will be resolved as soon as possible. Farooq Inqlabi Sarpanch Kewal informed about the schemes of Rural Development Department. He informed that under MGNREGA, there are beneficiary oriented and community interest works including small village road, construction of small foot bridges and culverts, land development and pond construction. Farooq Inqlabi appealed general public to get themselves registered for the eligibility slip for the government, construction of toilets. Under the Construction Workers’ Board of Labor Department, the laborers working for 90 days should be registered in Gram Panchayat for food grains, accident assistance for marriage and other benefits.
