RAJOURI FEBRUARY 27:-Budhal Constituency witnessed a significant boost in infrastructure development as Member of the Legislative Assembly Javed Iqbal Chaudhry formally inaugurated the long-awaited 6-kilometer Tarn–Kangota road project. The project, being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹13 crore, fulfills a long-standing demand of the local population and is expected to greatly improve connectivity and economic prospects in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of political representatives, social activists, community elders, and local residents. The gathering described the project as a concrete and result-oriented step toward accelerating development in Budhal. Residents expressed optimism that the improved road network would ease the daily challenges faced by students, patients, farmers, and traders, while also strengthening access to highways, markets, and essential services.
Addressing the gathering, Javed Iqbal Chaudhry stated that Budhal had faced prolonged neglect in the past, with certain political elements using the constituency merely as a vote bank without delivering basic facilities. He emphasized that resolving public grievances and strengthening infrastructure remain his top priorities. He reaffirmed his commitment to expanding road connectivity to every village and habitation in Budhal, ensuring transparency, accountability, and quality execution in all development works.
Responding to media queries, the MLA acknowledged staff shortages at key healthcare institutions, including Community Health Center Kotranka and PHC Budhal. He assured the public that necessary measures are being taken to address these gaps. He further stated that plans are underway to establish additional healthcare centers in remote and underserved rural areas to ensure accessible medical facilities at the grassroots level.
On the occasion, senior PDP leader and former Sarpanch Muhammad Farooq Inqlabi was also present. He termed the project a historic milestone for the region and thanked Javed Iqbal Chaudhry for fulfilling a long-pending demand of the people. He remarked that every positive initiative aimed at the development and prosperity of Budhal deserves appreciation and pledged his continued support for public welfare and developmental efforts.
Local residents expressed hope that the timely and quality completion of the Tarn–Kangota road will not only ease transportation difficulties but also bring transformative improvements in trade, education, and healthcare, paving the way for a new era of sustainable development in Budhal Constituency.
