Letter to DC Rajouri Rajesh K Shavan

Dear sir,

We the people of Darhal valley in General and Darhal Malkan in particular are highly thankful to you for all the initiatives taken by you for overall development of our area which was neglected since independence on one pretext or the other.
Dear sir to start with I must make a mention of the musical and cultural show held at Darhal yesterday evening. It makes your vision remarkably visible to the entire world and proves the fact that how much sensitive you are towards such issues inspite of the fact that it was the fall and not the peak season to venture such step. It speaks in volumes of your vision and commitment. I want to mention here sir that it was our long pending demand to the administration to take any such initiative that puts our area on the tourism map to preserve our culture and propagate it as well.
Dear sir, you went a step further by spending a night with the visitors in a tent. Your this step has not only made the people overwhelmed but has put your name inscribed in the hearts of public of Darhal and all the visitors as well. You will be remembered for a long time (like General T N Raina under whose leadership the Indian Army gave Darhal the ground in which this festival was organized) as the visionary officer who not only facilitated but also lead from the front by practically taking part in every activity. This step is high applaudable as it proved to the public that an administrator too belongs to them.
Dear sir I further want to make a mention of the fact that Darhal got almost all the facilities (efficiently overhauled) under your guidance that were not being taken care of; be it construction and maintenance of roads and infrastructure, water supply schemes, power sector, general services or anything under sky you proved that everything meant for public be delivered to them at their door step.
Dear sir since the team of trekkers which left for the Margs & 07 Lakes has reached Shakkar Marg this evening it has been proved that it not that far from Darhal and can be easily reached. Trekkers are the adventure tourists and everyone cannot take to adventurism. In this regard it is submitted that Shakkarmarg be made accessible to common public too who desire to visit by providing a road link from Darhal via Budhkhanari by extending Darhal-Budkhanari road at least upto Thumbal in 1st instance and then taking to the 2nd stage for further construction of road to Shakkarmarg as it doesn’t involve any destruction of the vegetational cover. Till this road is completed the Khoriwali-Badhyar road can be extended upto Shakkarmarg owing to its short distance (06-07 km from the present end point of the road that stands black-topped under your able leadership upto Ath pooj) as this road has the shortest possible distance from Darhal to reach to Shakkarmarg via Khari Marg (another beautiful tourist spot of the area).
Dear sir, I want to bring your kind attention towards the fact the each day is a festival in Darhal. We have put our best to make it convenient to our generations the value of sports and games. In a span of 06 months we have successfully organized almost many cricket tournaments. It shows the dynamics of the people of Darhal towards overall personality development of individuals. Our children are doing the best in the field of education. We are considered as one of the societies having highest literacy rate in the district. Darhal is a community which has a fair share in different fields of life. It is the land of poets & artists, academicians & administrators, soldiers & security personnel, writers & scholars, labourers & artisans etc. We have not only excelled in every field but have outshined in many areas of life. The working class of the area has a colossal impact on economic stability of our society.
