Lacs of Rupees Spent on a Dug Well by PHE Department Rajouri 16 years ago but the said dug well still non functional.

Thannamandi July 10:–Advocate Naveed Anjum Shawl councillor ward 9 Thannamandi along with senior citizens of Thannamandi urge upon the LG of Jammu and Kashmir UT to initiate enquiry of funds which utilized for the construction of Dug well of Thannamandi bu the said dug well still non functional due to the negligence of PHE department Rajouri .

The Councillor alleged that in 2004 PHE deptt spent 60 lakhs in this Dug well to supply of drinking water to the public of Thannamandi town and from last 16 years not a single drop of water deliver to the public. They also said that machinery is lying defunct after repeated request no action has been taken till date.

The public of Thanamandi appeal to DDC Rajouri that initiate an enquiry against the such mismanagement and misapproation of funds by the said department and take strict action against all those who failed to deliver the drinking water to the people of Thannamandi town.
