J&K’s Tauseef Ashraf Becomes First Athlete from UT to Represent India at GAMMA Asian MMA Championship 2026

JAMMU, JULY 29:- In a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir and the nation, Tauseef Ashraf is all set to represent India at the prestigious GAMMA Asian MMA Championship 2026 to be held in Malaysia.
Competing under the banner of the Mixed Martial Arts Sports Federation of India (MMA SFI), Tauseef has created history by becoming the first athlete from Jammu & Kashmir to qualify for and participate in the GAMMA Asian MMA Championship.
His participation has been made possible through the generous sponsorship and unwavering support of ARSH Auto, ARSH Institute of Health Science & Technology (AIHST), and the Mixed Martial Arts Sports Association of Jammu & Kashmir (MMASAJK), whose contribution has played a significant role in helping the young athlete achieve this milestone.
