JAMMU/SRINAGAR, :-#Jammu and Kashmir Rahbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) has demanded immediate release of pending salaries and orders of teacher grade -II / III and regularization of teachers of Jammu province,who are pending from last more than two years.
As per a press release issued here by forum spokesman on Tuesday, Forum Chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantray said that due to mental distress and financial difficulties teachers are suffering and urged LG J&K for initiating necessary measures to release regularisation / transition orders and pending salaries in favour of aggrieved teachers.
Forum chairman said that the Regularization orders and salaries of many teachers of JKUT specially in Jammu are pending from last two years in the office of Director School Education Jammu ( DSEJ) .He more said that some EV converted RET teachers are waiting for regularization and transition orders from more than 5 years.
Unwarranted delay in release of orders and pending salaries has forced them to come on roads again because teachers are in the verge of starvation,” he added. He said that despite of repeated requests, concerned department is not issuing the orders in favour of teachers who are working and serving the department from years. Tantray further said that teachers are being harrassed due to non release of pending orders.
He appealed to LG Manoj Sinha ,Principal secretary BK singh to intervene in the matter so the teachers may not suffer more. He further requested for release of pending salaries of teachers whose transition orders are pending in DSEJ.
