RAJOURI MAY 07:-In a strong gesture of solidarity and patriotism, noted social and political activist Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi has extended his full support to the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police amid heightened tensions along the India–Pakistan border.
In a formal communication addressed to the commanding officers of 33 Rashtriya Rifles (Budhal), 60 RR (Samote), and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, Inqlabi expressed unwavering support for the security forces.
“In these tense times, your courage and dedication in safeguarding our borders and civilians are deeply appreciated by the entire community,” Inqlabi wrote in his letter dated May 7.
As a humanitarian measure, Inqlabi has offered his residential house located in Kewal, Budhal, to be used as a temporary shelter for any displaced persons from the Poonch and Nowshera sectors. The property, he stated, is at the disposal of security forces for emergency or temporary use as needed.
Furthermore, Inqlabi has made himself available round-the-clock for any coordination or assistance, sharing two emergency contact numbers for immediate outreach.
This move has been lauded by locals and community members, many of whom see it as a reflection of unity and national spirit during a time of uncertainty.
With rising cross-border tensions and increased military activity in the region, such civic gestures are being hailed as crucial in boosting morale and strengthening civil-military cooperation on the ground.
