RAJOURI, JULY 04:- Senior PDP Leader Farooq Inqlabi has expressed deep concern over the deplorable condition of Government Girls Primary School Trun, Zone Kotranka, stating that the school reflects complete administrative neglect despite being situated on the highway.
Farooq Inqlabi said it is unfortunate that the objectives of the Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan and Swachh Bharat Mission are nowhere visible in the school. He stated that girl students have the same constitutional right to a clean, safe, healthy and dignified learning environment as any other child, and the present condition is unacceptable.
He further said that parents have repeatedly brought the matter to the notice of the concerned authorities. Despite several visits by the Chief Education Officer, Rajouri, to Budhal, no effort has been made to inspect this school or address the genuine grievances of the local people.
Farooq Inqlabi urged the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Chief Education Officer Rajouri and other concerned authorities to conduct an immediate on-the-spot inspection, improve sanitation and basic infrastructure, and ensure that all government schemes meant for schoolchildren are implemented in letter and spirit.
He warned that continued neglect of the education and welfare of young girls cannot be tolerated and demanded prompt, transparent and accountable action to restore public confidence in the education system.
