Kupwara: Inhabitants of Bajard, Mohalla, of Panchayet Halqa, Gagal, of Block Wavora of Kupwara, District, are suffering from ‘the worst water crisis’ in its history with about twenty five thousnad people facing high to extreme water Crisis in the area.
Choudhary Mustafa Rahie, J&K, Gujjar Bakerwal Youth Welfare Conference, Province, President, of Kashmir, visited in the area, where People at large number informed about the difficulties being faced by them.
They while informing said that since many years the road of the area is also in dilapidatted Condition and the R&B, Department, is in the deep slumber and even by repeated requests by locals no decision is being taken by Department to macadamise the road due to which the inhabitants of the area are suffering badly.
Similarily, Jal Shakti, Department, has been Completely failed to provide the adequate drinking water supply or no Project has been started in the area in order to reduce the miseries of People.
Choudhary Mustafa Rahie, while talking with the Reporter of GNS online News Letter, said that it is the matter of great concern that people of the area would have to trecked up for atleast 12 KM, to get the Water, for domestic purpose which made their life a hell and in the Chilly Season of Winter, their Problems would get increase and it becomes difficult for them to bring the Water from well Spring.
Rahie, However, alleged that Jal Shakti, department doesn’t bother to look into the matter, appealing the authorities to fulfill their demands at an earliest so that they could heave a sigh of relief.
He while threatening said that JKGBYWC, would launch protest soon if the matter of inhabitants of the area could not get resolved forthwith.
