IED recovered & defused in Rajouri district

RAJOURI APRIL 13:–According to an unconfirmed report, a joint team of J&K police & CIB on Saturday conducted searches in Bakori,Draj and at a Dhok (pasture) and at Dhok recovered an IED which was made in a mobile phone box & was destroyed on the spot.
On April 2, DGP J&K, R R Swain in a press briefing disclosed the busting of a LeT outfit module in Rajouri district and out of seven identified persons three, including wife of a jailed terrorist & her brother, were arrested on the spot from Kotrnaka area.
DGP said that all the identified members were involved in receiving and distributing arms, ammunition, explosives, cash, IEDs and narcotics dropped through drones from across the border.
The arrested persons were identified as Gulshan Naaz–wife of notorious arrested and jailed OGW Talib Hussain Shah resident of Draj village (presently at Kotranka)– her brother Abid Shah and Imitiaz Ahmed resident of Larkuti (Kotranka).
Sources said on Saturday the joint team brought Gulshan Naz & her brother to Kotranka and conducted more searches on their disclosure in the residences of her father and at other places including Dhok.
Sources said the joint team recovered an IED, about 600 gms in weight,& destroyed it on the spot with the help of a bomb disposal squad.
Official confirmation is awaited in this matter.
