SRINAGAR JUNE 10:-The leadership of Greater Shahre Khaas has issued a strong call for immediate action regarding the reported harassment of students in local schools. Faheem Reshi, a prominent leader of the community, has urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and Minister of Education Sakina Itoo to intervene swiftly to address and resolve these serious concerns.
According to Faheem Reshi, recent incidents of student harassment have caused significant distress among students and their families. “The safety and well-being of our children are paramount. We cannot allow any form of harassment or mistreatment to continue in our schools,” said Reshi. He emphasized the need for thorough investigations and the implementation of strict measures to protect students and ensure a safe learning environment.
The Greater Shahre Khaas leadership is calling on the administration to take immediate steps to halt these incidents and to hold accountable those responsible. They stress that schools should be places of growth and learning, free from fear and intimidation. Reshi also appealed to the education authorities to engage with parents, teachers, and students to rebuild trust and foster a supportive atmosphere.
