JAMMU DECEMBER 01:– Red Ribbon Club of GDC Billawar celebrated World Aids Day on 1st Dec 2021 on the theme “End inequalities, End Aids, End Pandemics”, under the overall supervision of Prof. Anita Jamwal, Principal GDC Billawar.
Various activities were conducted to aware the masses about AIDS, its causes, prevention, and tools currently available to check spread of AIDS virus. Many students participated in Poster/Slogan competition to spread awareness about AIDS and acknowledge the responsibility of everyone in building a healthy, prosperous and AIDS free society.
The students gave a strong message and information through their slogans and colorful posters to end the HIV infection by adopting safe precautions as prevention is the best measure when there is no cure.
Prof. Anita Jamwal, Principal appreciated the Red Ribbon Club Convenor and its team for organizing such a successful event by involving many students and directed to organize more awareness camps in near future.
Dr. Shamim Ahmed Bandey, Convenor Red Ribbon Club thanks Principal, staff members of Red Ribbon Club and students for their actively participation.
