First ATM Installed at Khawas under leadership of DC Rajouri; Deputy Advisor NITI Aayog Inaugurates JK Bank Facility

RAJOURI APRIL 03:-In a significant step towards strengthening financial inclusion in remote areas, the first ATM in Aspirational Block Khawas has been installed under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma.*

The newly installed ATM of Jammu and Kashmir Bank at Khawas was inaugurated today by Deputy Advisor, NITI Aayog, Dr. Muni Raju SB.

Speaking on the occasion, the dignitary appreciated the efforts of the District Administration Rajouri for extending essential banking facilities to far-flung areas, stating that such initiatives play a crucial role in promoting financial accessibility and inclusive development.

During his visit, Dr. Muni Raju also inspected the Sub District Hospital Khawas and reviewed various healthcare facilities available for the public.He assessed the functioning of different sections and interacted with the staff, emphasizing the need for quality healthcare services and improved service delivery in rural areas.

In addition, he also reviewed the saturation of various indicators under Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 and stressed the need for focused efforts to achieve the desired targets within the stipulated timelines.

Among others present on the occasion were ADDC Rajouri, Malikzada Sheraz ul Haq,ADC Kotranka Dilmir, DSEO, Sandeep Sharma, ACD Rajouri, Auqil Naveed, CMO Manohar Lal Rana, BDO Khawas, Javed Choudhary, Lead Bank Manager besides other district and sectoral officers who accompanied the visiting dignitary during the programme.
