SRINAGAR MARCH 26:-Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic demise of Dr. Tabassum Naz, Assistant Professor at Government Degree College Poonch, who lost her life in a road accident in Rajouri.
Taking to her official handle on X (formerly Twitter), the Minister termed the incident “deeply heartbreaking” and extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. She said that Dr. Naz was a dedicated academician whose contribution to education and commitment towards her students will always be remembered.
The Minister further prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss. She also wished a speedy recovery to Dr. Naz’s husband, who was injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment.
Dr. Tabassum Naz’s untimely demise has sparked widespread grief across the academic fraternity, with colleagues, students, and well-wishers remembering her as a compassionate teacher and an inspiring personality.
