JAMMU MARCH 14 :–Dr Vivak M Arya Son of Soil (Poonch ) Pirpunjal S/o late Comrade Manohar Lal Arya and Smt Vijay Sharma today assumed the prestigious professorship in SKUAST JAMMU. He was selected by the competent authority of SKUAST Jammu in an interview. His selection was approved and passed in 38th Board of Management meeting of SKUAST Jammu .
Dr Arya is a well renowned soil scientist working in the field of natural resource management and climate change. He had published various research papers books and articles in various international and national peer reviewed journals.
He has a great experience of handling many externally funded projects sponsored by many agencies like DBT DST ICAR Dr Arya had visited many foreign countries for his presentation of research work. He visited USA on a IDP Fellowship. His students are working and pursuing PhD and fellowships in USA and many foreign countries
Pertinent to mention Dr Vivak Arya is son of veteran and very popular trade union leader late Comrade Manohar Lal Arya of Poonch
