Dr. Shamim Ahmed Banday Honoured with ‘Icons of Kashmir 2026’ Award for Excellence in Education

SRINAGAR, SEPT 13:-Dr. Shamim Ahmed Banday has been honoured with the prestigious “Icons of Kashmir – Season 2026” Award by the Incentive Foster Foundation in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Education.

The certificate issued by the foundation describes Dr. Banday’s recognition as a tribute to his exceptional contributions, distinguished vision, leadership, innovation and dedication, particularly towards empowering students and promoting educational opportunities.

The foundation highlighted his efforts in providing free coaching and guidance for competitive examinations, especially to underprivileged and needy students. His initiatives supporting poor students and his continued efforts to improve access to quality education were also acknowledged.
