Udhampur: 22nd July : Dr. S. D. Singh Jamwal, IPS, IGP who was transferred from Police Headquarters J&K, joined as Director Police Academy Udhampur on 22.07.2019. After his arrival at SKPA, Dr. Jamwal took salute at the Quarter Guard and thereafter visited various buildings of SKPA Udhampur to have on the spot assessment of the infrastructure of the Academy. He conducted a thorough review of the training infrastructure of the Academy and highlighted the various deficiencies.
Dr. S. D. Singh Jamwal also chaired a meeting of all the officers both Gazetted and non Gazetted officers of Indoor, outdoor and Administration Wings and imparted necessary briefing/directions for the up gradation of training infrastructure and improvement in ongoing training affairs for smooth conduct of the training courses.
