RAJOURI, SEPT 16:- Dr Romesh Khajuria, President of Muslim Rashtriya Manch, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, today visited the revered shrine of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah at Shahdra Sharif in Rajouri district.
During his visit, Dr Khajuria paid obeisance at the shrine. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khajuria said that he prayed for peace, prosperity, communal harmony and further development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Administrator Waqf Board Rajouri Abdul Qayoom Mir was also present on the occasion.
Dr Khajuria appreciated the development and improvement works carried out at Shahdra Sharif under the chairmanship of Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, and under the supervision of Administrator Abdul Qayoom Mir and the entire Waqf Board team.
He appreciated the efforts being made to improve facilities for devotees and visitors at the historic shrine and said that the preservation and development of such important religious and spiritual places is significant for the region.
The visit also highlighted the importance of Shahdra Sharif as a prominent spiritual destination and a symbol of faith, harmony and shared cultural heritage in the Pir Panjal region.
