Rajouri, August,01:In order to take first hand appraisal of all the arrangements being put in place by different departments,Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today conducted an extensive tour of Nowshera and sunderbani and visited the yatra grounds and conducted meetings with the officer and members of different religious and social organisation.
The DDC was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of police, Yougal Manhas Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani,Vinod kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Chief medical officer, Dr.Sunil Sharma , Additional SP, Girdhari Lal,Executive Engineer EM&RE, Executive Engineer PWD Nowhera, Executive Engineer PHE Nowshera division,Assistant Director FCS&CA, Tehsildar sunderbani,Siot,Block Development Officer siot , sunderbani, Block Medical officer Sunderbani, Tehsil supply officer sunderbani and members of Yatra organising committee.
The DDC visited Yatra ground at Nowshera and took stock of all the facilities being made available for the brief stay of yatris there. He directed the concerned officers to make all efforts possible so that the yatris don’t feel any inconvenience during their journey.
Later DDC paid a visit to yatra ground at Sunderbani where he took on spot review from ADC Sunderbani about the arrangements to be put in place for Shri Budha Amarnath ji yatra regarding sanitation,Medical Aid,security, transport and traffic arrangements, kitchen sheds and dining halls, boarding and lodging of pilgrims. ADC sunderbani also informed that the first batch of yatris shall reach the yatra ground sunderbani on August 06.Meanwhile the DDC also visited the ashram of Swami VishwatmaNand Saraswati ji to check the arrangements of night stay of yatris there. He directed Xen PHE Mechanical to install submersible pump required to provide adequate water supply at the Ashram.
DDC impressed upon officers deployed for Yatra duty to make necessary arrangements for the convenience of pilgrims. He also directed for timely submission of details of pilgrims received at Sunderbani and Nowshera and then moving towards Rajouri.
He also urged upon the officers to ensure proper coordination and synergy while making arrangements and various facilities for the convenience of yatris and for the successful conduct of Shri Budha Amarnath ji Yatra 2019.
