RAJOURI, DECEMBER 18:– District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the performance of the RDD sector under various schemes being implemented in the district.
The meeting was attended by the ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACD, Sushil Khajuria; ACP, Mohd Khurshid TO ExEn REW and Block Development Officers.
Discussing the progress regarding the tendering of the works of District capex and other , the DDC asked the concerned to organise special camps and ensure that maximum works are tendered within three days. He also fixed the deadline of allotment of the tenders of all the approved works by 31 Ist of December this year. He also passed a slew of instructions in connection with the rendering process
Taking stock of the progress on person-days generation under MGNREGA, the DDC inquired about the reasons for the low PDs and asked the concerned BDOs to take effective steps to achieve the targets already fixed. He also fixed the target for the maximum person-days generation during the current financial year.
While reviewing the Adhar seeding, instructions were issued for achieving a hundred per cent aadhar seeding of all the beneficiaries of the district at the earliest.
Directing the officers to achieve the targets in a time-bound manner, he impressed upon them to optimally achieve the set targets within the set timelines and also stressed close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality for the longevity of the assets.
DDC also directed to maintain interdepartmental coordination for achieving the desired outcomes to meet the developmental aspirations of the general public.
He also directed to expedite the progress on several vital works and issued strict instructions to BDOs to expedite the ongoing development works for timely completion.
DDC also exhorted upon the officers to maintain transparency and accountability in the execution of all works being executed by the RDD sector in the district.
